Visitors frequently have  questions about a church they are unfamiliar with.  Below you'll find answers to some of the questions you may have.  If you have additional questions, please feel free to reach out to our church office prior to your visit or ask an Usher or other church member during your visit.

What time does service start?

Morning Worship Services begin at 11:00 a.m. every Sunday.

When is Bible Study?

Bible Study is held virtually (via ZOOM) on Wednesday evenings at 7pm. Please contact the church for a link. 

Do I need to attend a New Member Class?

Yes, after you have made the decision to join the church, new member classes will be scheduled.

Where are you located?

We are located on Madison's east side, at 4525 Diamond Drive.  See the map to get directions.

How should I dress?

At St. Paul A.M.E Church you are welcome to come as you are. You will see members in suits and dresses as well as jeans and T-shirts.

Who attends?

We have young and old, single and married, those with and without children, all  persons of all backgrounds and ethnicities who are seeking to grow in faith are welcome. 

Giving

Our church relies on the tithes and offerings of its members. At each service our church family is given an opportunity to support the ministry.  

What is the music like?

At St. Paul AME Church you will experience everything from traditional and contemporary gospel, spirituals, hymns and contemporary praise, recorded and live.  

Our adult choir is current rebuilding and we're seeking voices and musicians.  If you have been called to serve and praise through song, please consider joining.

Parking is available in the church parking lot.  Enter from Diamond Drive.
